Newbie incoming alert

Well, as you probably got from the title, I'm a noob here. The name's sweetnsassy and I am soooo glad I found this board. I'm a huge fan of Moribito and am happy to see that it's finally getting some love online. Let's see, I'm not good at intros. but I'll try not to bore anyone too bad (no promises tho...)
I've been an anime fan for about fifteen years now ever since Devilman blew my eight year old mind. Sailor Moon, Slayers, and DBZ all contributed to feeding my newfound addiction and I haven't had a full wallet since. I fell in love with Moribito after catching it on [as] late one night. Larc's "Shine" hooked me in and I knew this was a show with amazing potential. I marathon'ed it online and snapped up the book. This show is one of my all-time favorites and I pray that a second season will come out.
In addition to watching anime and reading manga, I like to write and am a huge bibliophile. I enjoy studying other aspects of Japanese culture, including history and folklore. My love of the culture has created a new addiction that drains my income, collecting kimono. I enjoy dressing in wafuku (native Japanese dress) from time to time and laughing at the strange looks I get when I go out in public. I've also been known to cosplay in public (and not just at convention either).
Okay that's all I've got. I look forward to "talking" with everyone here and watching the fanbase for this amazing, amazing show grow. Toodles!

That's cool how you like to study their culture, maybe you can give us more understanding of aspects when we need....I dunno.

Glad to meet you, S&S! We're all noobs here. This whole site is only a week old and we can use a writer around here. There's a lot of Moribito content that needs to be added.

Yeah if you can specify any certain topics that needs to be written up, I'd be glad to write some rough drafts while I'm at school, not paying attention.

GrinfilledCelt, I've loved writing since I was a kid and let's just say that that, coupled with an anime obsession, may or may not have resulted in some Moribito fanfiction...

I was rather willing to get banned from that place just to spread the word but I thought I would just work within it's boundaries. Plus if you saw it there and joined, then I wasn't a failure.

Welcome, sweetnsassy! I'm lucky I haven't been banned yet, but they really aren't meanies on the ASMB (Adult Swim Message Boards). Spamming or over-pimping oneself isn't cool there; if serious or semi-serious members can do it, then sex sites, enhancement products & other pimpers that aren't even related to the [adult swim] goal of quality anime & cheap crude comedy [Am I biased, BTW? ] would register, clog the boards & all the mods would be doing is deleting spam threads & banning bogus spammers.

ryuzaki11 learned his lesson fast, however, so it's cool...

Woo-hoo, I managed to find a story! I was afraid I'd trashed it while cleaning up, but turns out I just tucked it into an old folder. Now, a question: where exactly do I post it? I see no place for fanfic. What do I do?!

Maybe at the Fan Art area for now...i think that would be best for now.
