... billyarnie. Thanks for inviting me, ryuzaki11! I'm mostly active on the Adult Swim Message Board (ASMB), but I have established some presence at ANN & a few other forums. I'll go into detail on another thread... Glad you're trying to boost Moribito interest; I'll try to PM some interested ASMB'ers who are also Moribito fans. Some of them introduced me to this great show. Anyway, in order to boost interest here, IMHO, here are 3 things we need to focus on:

1. DVD's - Media Blasters already has Vols. 1 & 2 out; in singles, a 2-Pack & a 2-Pack with Artbox. These are dual-layered discs & probably higher quality. Vol. 3 is scheduled to street on 02/10/09; the 3 volumes will bring us up to the 10 dubbed eps. MB also has a Moribito Special Collection only at Wal-Mart; stores only, not at Walmart.com. The MSC has the 1st 10 eps also, but on single-layered discs. 2 eps per disc, with all extras on a 6th disc. 6 discs for $20!
   
2. Fansubbed eps from #11 on - They exist & I can put you in touch with some people who know where they are via PM's. I'm a dub fan myself, but if I want to continue enjoying Moribito goodness, this is my only choice until more DVD's come out or it gets back on TV. Speaking of...
   
3. Getting the show back on TV - We have the enthusiasm, but not the tools yet. The Bottom Line depends on who now has TV rights. If it's Production I.G., the creators of the anime, someone needs to negotiate with them. I'm hoping rights only reverted to Geneon; Dentsu has sold their interest in Geneon to Universal Pictures International Entertainment (UPIE). Later this month, Geneon & Universal Pictures Japan (UPJ) are scheduled to merge into a new company that will probably be under UPIE. With the Universal connection, Moribito could return to U.S. TV on any NBC Universal network. Most likely, Sci Fi's Ani-Monday with Moribito's fantasy background.

As for getting the 2nd novel Yami no Moribito (Guardian of Darkness) into an anime, I'd love to see it, but if there wasn't interest in Japan, we'd need to make Guardian of the Spirit such in demand here that Japan would see the demand & Production I.G. would be willing to make the 2nd anime. Anything's possible, I guess...

Welcome, Bill! I was beginning to think that this place was going to be stillborn. We need to attract more fans and build the content here. Anything you can do will be appreciated.

I didn't know about the Wall-Mart edition. I'll look for that. We should start a thread about that stuff and anything else that becomes available that is Moribito related.

I was going to say that we aren't constrained by ANN's rules here and can post links here, but then I remembered that this isn't my website and should get permission before posting links to downloads. I can think of several easy to find places where the subs may be available.

We can only cross our fingers to get it back on tv. I don't think the sci-fi channel is an option though. All their shows are from Manga Entertainment.

I won't count out Sci Fi just yet; their original agreement was with Starz/Manga, but Manga also has access to Central Park Media's (CPM) catalog & they've also worked out agreements with Bandai. Obvious examples are Gurren Lagann & Gundam 00... & if they've worked out something with Tokyopop to get Rave Master, which starts in March when GL starts rerunning, then anything's possible, IMHO.

If Rave Master is going to be the TV-Y7 FV show that ran on CN/Toonami, then if Geneon/UPJ has the rights to Moribito, it could air on any NBC Universal network. Sci Fi 1st choice; USA 2nd, IMO. They always say "Characters welcome"... This would give Sci Fi flexibility as well; however, right now they're airing whatever Starz/Manga sez... NBCU/Sci Fi would have to take a more active role in programming Ani-Monday & any other anime nights.

I'm new to Seirei no Morobito, but so far, all I can say is that i'm very impressed.

A Media section with some downloads like Wallpapers or artwork samples would be nice.

Great, great idea, a fan art/ graphics/ avatars section...

I'll be looking for some links and stuff, I'll be accepting contributions too cause I suck at photoshop err whatever.

Welcome Shogan! Glad to have you here. How far into Moribito are you? Just what AS has shown? You can help ryuzaki with the content, you know. If you have or know of any Moribito artwork or wallpaper just let him know.

I wonder if I should just put links, but people like seeing pictures (hence the attempt to have pics on the character Infos.)
